At Butler Elementary, there are four Reading Specialists who support students and teachers each day. Our goal is to provide reading instruction that is engaging and student-centered.
Alison Kuhn has been working in Central Bucks for over 20 years. She is an experienced special education teacher. She is a trained Reading Recovery teacher with many additional certifications in the areas of MRI and English as a Second Language. Currently, she provides reading support for students in first, second, third and fifth grades.
Christine Sauers has worked in the district for over 10 years. She has classroom teaching experience at both the primary and intermediate levels.Currently, she provides instruction to students in Kindergarten, first, second, and fourth grades.
Leesa Meade has been working in Central Bucks for 10 years. She is a certified Wilson Instructor. Currently, she provides reading support for students in Kindergarten, second, fourth, and sixth grades.
Sarah Burkholder has been working in Central Bucks for 10 years. She has classroom teaching experience at the primary and intermediate levels. Currently, she provides instruction to students in Kindergarten, first, second, and third grades.
