Schoolwide Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (SWPBIS)

uh_oh_this_one (PDF)

Schoolwide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (SWPBIS) is a positive approach to discipline that promotes appropriate student behavior and increased learning.

The mission of the Butler SWPBIS team is to foster and promote a respectful, responsible, and kind school environment that enhances student learning through teaching and recognizing positive behavior.

We, as a school community, demonstrate our PAW POWER through modeling, encouraging, and promoting behaviors that reflect our commitment to growing into respectful, responsible, and kind learners.

Below is our school matrix which can be found in every classroom and throughout the halls. This matrix defines the expectations for behaviors.
